Maya is currently a sophomore at Macalester College and hopes to major in International Studies. She has been increasingly interested in internationalism since middle school, but has recently focused on journalism and development. While her aspiration of being a National Geographic photojournalist is still in dream phase, Maya uses her spare time to enjoy running, podcast-listening, and art.
