Eliza grew up in Portland and graduated last June from Bennington College with a B.A. in International Studies and Mandarin Chinese. Eliza is interested in pursuing international humanitarian work, and is looking into medicine as a possible channel through which to do so. She spent spent the better part of 2009 studying and traveling in China, and plans to add Spanish and Tibetan to her language repertoire within the next few years. She enjoys biking, rock climbing, hiking, and exploring other cultures and places.
