A graduate of University of Oregon in International Studies and French and a former Global Envision intern, Haley has spent two years living (and eating) in France. She spent a summer in Middlebury, VT learning Arabic, العربية, and plans on living in Damascus, Syria in the future.

Ian Goldsmith is an intern for Global Envision. He is majoring in Geography with a minor in Economics at Portland State University. Ian has traveled to 46 of the contiguous states, The Netherlands, Belgium and Costa Rica. He is passionate about cooking, New York Times crossword puzzles and his beloved Kansas City Royals.

Jean Payton is a freelance writer for Global Envision and former intern. She holds a degree in Community Development with a concentration in Housing and Economic Development from Portland State University's School of Urban Studies and Planning. Additional focus and research areas include African Studies, Middle Eastern History, and International Development. She has traveled extensively and recently participated in an International Sustainable Development Seminar in Uganda.

Jill is pursuing an undergraduate degree in International Development Studies at Portland State University. She is focusing on public health in South Asian countries and is especially interested in India. She spent last summer in New Delhi, researching the barriers to community participation in maternal and child health projects in urban slums.
