Global Envision Internships
Global Envision offers internships for outstanding graduate and undergraduate students who have a strong interest in journalism, international affairs, economics and the web. Global Envision is based at the Mercy Corps' headquarters office in Portland, Oregon. Applicants located in the Portland area are preferred but staff will also consider applicants located elsewhere with a willingness to contribute to Global Envision from a distance. The Global Envision contributor internship offers the opportunity to learn about web-publishing process and be a regular contributor for the Global Envision site. Contributor responsibilities include daily postings with thoughtful commentary on timely issues, reading and monitoring content from news providers to identify content for website, and supporting team efforts to grow site traffic and engage users.
